The community of Bridlewood is located in the southwest corner of Calgary. Development in the area commenced in the 1990s and the community was established in 1998. Located at the west edge of the city allows for easy access to the mountains and the nearby Bridlewood/Somerset LRT station makes for an easy commute to the downtown, nearby attractions include Spruce Meadows.
The boundaries of the community are 162 Avenue to the north, James Mckevitt Road to the east, Marquis of Lorne Trail to the south and Stoney Trail R.O.W. to the west.
