C The Glenmore Dam, constructed in 1929, is a popular site for residents to gather for picnics and recreational activities. North Glenmore Park was annexed in 1956 and residential development began there in 1957. The area is close to several of Calgary’s attractions such as Heritage Park, a number of golf courses, Glenmore Athletic Park, Chinook Mall, as well as the Rockyview Hospital and Mount Royal University.
The boundaries of the community are 50 Avenue to the north, Elbow River and Glenmore Reservoir to the east, Glenmore Reservoir to the south and Crowchild to the west.
