The inner city community of Scarboro is located just outside the downtown core in Calgary’s southwest. The community was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1907 and development began shortly after, many stately turn of the century homes can still be found throughout the community today.
The boundaries of the community are 12 Avenue and Bow Trail to the north, 17 Street, 14 Avenue and 16 Street to the east, 17 Avenue to the south and Crowchild Trail to the west.
