Silver Springs is located in Calgary’s northwest on the north bluff of the Bow River. The community began development in 1970 and was completed in 1980. The many parks and pathways allow residents year round recreational opportunities along with easy access to the Bow River. In addition the community offers views of Canada Olympic Park and the mountains.
The community is bounded by Crowchild Trail to the north, Sarcee Trail to the east, Bow River to the south and Nose Hill Drive to the west.
