The community of Silverado is located on the south edge of Calgary in the southwest quadrant adjacent to Spruce Meadows. Development in the area began in 2005. Its convenient location at the west edge of the city allows for easy access to the mountains and the nearby Bridlewood/Somerset LRT station makes for an easy commute to the downtown.
The boundaries of the community are Marquis of Lorne Trail to the north, Macleod Trail to the east, 194 Avenue to the south and Spruce Meadows Way to the west.
