Sundance is a community located in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, located along MacLeod Trail the community affords good access to the downtown and with Fish Creek Provincial Park bordering the other side it allows great access for outdoor activities. The community boasts a 33 acre manmade lake at its center. The community was established in 1982 and the community association of midsun represents residents of Sundance and Midnapore.
The boundaries of the community are Sun Valley Boulevard and Fish Creek Provincial Park to the north, Macleod Trail to the east, Stoney Trail to the south and Fish Creek Provincial Park to the west.
